Recipe! Vegan mac and "cheese"

On my pregnancy forum a lovely lady gave me a great recipe for vegan mac and "cheese". And I thought I should share it! Here we go!

1/2 cup of yeast flakes
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
2 cloves chopped garlic
1/4 tsp paprika
2 cups soy milk
1/4 cup oil (or vegan butter.)
1/2 tsp of prepared or dry mustard
8 oz macaroni.

Mix the dry together then whisk in the milk, cook over medium heat stirring constantly till it's thick and bubbly, then add in the oil/butter and mustard. You can add more soy milk if you don't like your mac n cheese thick. Add the cooked macaroni and enjoy!

  2. Thanks! Will get on it for sure. We have other vegan cheese here but it tends to melt funny :/
